MCMS was founded as a non-profit AMI certified (Association Montessori Internationale) school and has served families from the greater Madison area since 1972. Throughout the years our goal has been to meet the needs of our families, while expanding program opportunities.
We now enroll 135 students in three Primary classrooms (2 1/2 - 6 years), two Lower Elementary classrooms (6-9 years), one Upper Elementary classroom (9-12 years), and one Adolescent classroom (12-14 years). Plus, we offer programs for Primary Full Day, Elementary After School and Before School Care. Summer "Camp" programs are also available for children ages 3-9 years.
