Mission Statement
The mission of Madison Central Montessori School (MCMS) is to foster education and learning consistent with the writings and teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori and recognized by Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). MCMS provides specially prepared environments that encourage each child to participate freely in activities suited to his/her individual level of capability and interest. Our beautiful environments allow each child to become an orderly, integrated person with self-esteem and a strong love of learning. MCMS strives to foster a cooperative, peaceful and non-competitive atmosphere, while promoting the development of strong moral character and human values.
